Biden really wants to portray this narrative that Republicans in Congress are just hoodwinked by Trumpism and once Trump is gone they’ll magically start being reasonable partners in democracy. I can’t express how naive and insulting I find that and it’s upsetting because Biden who was Obama’s VP should know better than that. Joe, you’re going to be the subject of many books and articles by right wingers everywhere insisting that you’re a Marxist who hates the Baby Jesus and wants to turn our children into gay transgendered Muslims. I don’t need you to hate Republicans but I do need you to be aware that they’re not our buddies.
