Today has been a complete disaster thus far for the Brexiteers. They’re not entirely done yet, but they’re sure as hell on the ropes. After BoJo’s absolute train wreck earlier in Parliament - nicely topped off with him losing his majority, LOL - he’s probably kicking that poor dog he and his girlfriend just adopted.

And now Mogg is pulling the “I want them to impeach me!” gambit:

Rees-Mogg says parliamentary rules (the ones he has accuses John Bercow of subverting) are there to protect people from tyranny. He says there is a tried and tested means of removing an unpopular government - a confidence vote. But Labour has not tabled one, because it is afraid of losing, he claims.
