Really annoying — twice today while listening to MSNBC, I heard attorneys (not sure who they were) who both said that they had been in favor of Barr’s appointment because they thought he was an institutionalist but they now realize that their judgement had been in error. Really? Were they actually blind to Barr’s actions as AG under 41? Did none of these experts read Barr’s audition letter for the position?? I am always flabbergasted when people who are reputed to be experts seem too willing to accept someone at face value because of their paper credentials.
