A reddish state is winnable only if people are allowed to vote — and the GOP is going to use every dirty trick in their box to suppress and disenfranchise voters. Never forget the Texas woman who was sentenced to 5 years in prison because she mistakenly thought she was eligible to vote.

So they have to figure out a way to separate the rural voters that voted for Trump in 2016 but aren’t going to vote for him now. Because if they try to restrict rural voting in most of the state, then it’ll only leave urban and suburban voters, and he will lose Texas.
