I have firsthand experience with union bullying tactics. When I was a grad student, there was a vote on whether to unionize graduate students at Cal. During the week prior to the vote, a union organizer approached me as I entered a building. Shortly thereafter, in response to his questions, I had told him yes I'm a grad student, I'll voting against unionizing, and I'm not interested in discussing it. He physically blocked me from leaving the area by stepping in front of me although I repeatedly tried to avoid him. After giving a warning, I gut punched him, pushed him on the ground and walked away.
