It’s very discriminatory. The weregild for a slave wasn’t even close to the weregild for a freeman. That’s just wrong, as we’re all equal in the site of God.

And don’t even get me started on the fact that the bot for going through an earl’s tun was more than the bot for going through a freeman’s tun.
