My point was, that comments under any article are not considered as support, one way or the other for any argument. You may as well just claim the comment as your own, as you have.

So would you care to own that comment, a bit further, saying that ‘this comment reflects the way I think about the matter’?

As for bringing in another quote, are you implying that the second quote is one that I would agree with?

This is a remarkable tricky technique of discussion, not only trying to put words in my mouth, but also completely deflecting from the original post, about creating false images to buttress completely false claims. It’s not dissimilar to what you are doing by bringing up the comments section of the story as the actual story.

Why don’t you make a separate post about that comment, if you feel that’s the most important part of the article?
