re: #26 Rightwingconspirator

I looked it up. Never ever heard of it before. Hey is my daily horoscope a month ahead, or behind?

The traditional dates used in astrology have the Sun further to the east among the Zodiacal constellations on a particular date than it is today. For example, if you are a Virgo in the newspaper column, the Sun is actually in Leo, one constellation to the west. A Taurus becomes an Aries and so forth (with a little overlap).
If you use the International Astronomical Union constellation boundaries, the ecliptic (Sun’s apparent path around the sky each year) actually crosses fourteen of them, rather than the usual twelve. Ophiuchus is one, the Sun spending almost three weeks there, the other is Cetus the whale (in the fall) where the path of the Sun nips a corner for a couple of days..
