With no comment on that from the religious girl, I will just mention that I read a hilarious story from a guy on Slacktivist, who apparently once ended up in jail for some days in a town where the jail library was donated—and all they had were the “Left Behind” books. He says he’s never been in trouble since. He was afraid they would make him finish the series.

Compare this to a good translation of the actual Bible, and I think we can agree on what’s better for the brain…

With today’s private prison system being all about maximizing profit, I doubt if accurate religious material rates high on the list.
