The only thing the Nazis got right (and it kills me to say the Nazis got anything right) was their anti-smoking campaign. They were the first to demonstrate the link between smoking and cancer. And they took steps that were considered quite radical at the time, such as banning smoking in streetcars and other forms of public transportation and in public places; they also imposed restrictions on advertising of tobacco and regulated coffeehouses and restaurants. Research on the negative effects of smoking thrived under the Nazi regime.

But a caveat - naturally, Nazis being Nazis, their anti-smoking campaign was tinged with overt racism and their typical blatant (and disgusting) anti-Semitism.
