We love elite athletes, unless they’re asking for a larger slice of the pie that is bought by their talent and the risk of their future health, or they have opinions on police shooting black people.

The funny thing about people bitching about how much athletes make is that they don’t bitch about the profits flowing to the owners, yet they turn on the TV or go to the stadium to watch the athletes perform, not to watch the team owners own.
