Yeah, there seems to be a disconnect between “Trump and Cohen did nothing illegal, there’s nothing there that amounts to a crime” and “Cohen would never turn on Trump!” If nothing illegal happened, then there’s nothing to turn against Trump. Turning on him implies that Cohen has evidence that Trump committed a crime or evidence that could be used to prove a crime. In either of those two cases, “attorney-client privilege” goes out the window as it cannot be used to cover up evidence of a crime.

Make up your fucking minds!

I think the “logic” goes something like this:

1. Trump and Cohen did nothing illegal.
2. The Deep State made up/planted evidence.
3. They want to get Cohen in a dark room under a bright light to offer a false confession/false evidence of Trump wrong doing.
4. Cohen, like Trump, is too good of a man to fall for that.
