I live in an old farmhouse (the original house in this “subdivision”, which really isn’t a subdivision, but an area within the city) and I would love a farmhouse sink. I like them. I would also kill for a house-sized kitchen (I am just shy of a master chef and cooking is a passion) and a master suite that is big and comfortable as a retreat. The rest I agree with.
I think a balance of what is comfortable to the person living there is, or should be, the point. A house should be your personal space and that personal space should make you happy.
I am not a fan of big, “fancy” McMansions, but to each their own.
