I can see this scenario unfolding; A scorched-earth strategy by an outgoing Trump administration, driven into action by a petty and vengeful POTUS, infuriated that he lost. I’ve posted before I can all too easily see the Trumpites (and a big chunk of the GOP) going full Götterdämmerung if Biden wins, regardless of whether it’s a landslide or a closer margin of victory.

Another reason to be glad it’s Biden. He spent eight years immersed in this, and should be able to carry on without a full briefing.

(DT’s minions aren’t competent to provide that kind of instruction anyway, but between the low-level civil service employees who are still there, and the senior people who were forced out and have offered to come back, the new administration will be able to pick up the reins.)
