That would be worse. They should at least be there for their son, even if their actions led to this tragedy. They created him; they should not be abandoning him now. If they have any decency, maybe this will lead them to rethink their life choices. Of course, given the mother is a MAGAt, that’s not likely but people sometimes do repent.
