I think he wrote it because of Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Which is another “fine” books, if you love pseudo-history and want a good ride.

And HBHG, DC and such were not new themes, all of it was based on junk history that has been floating around for centuries.

I like HBHG, read it in the 80’s, just picked up a use copy for a couple of bucks last year, just for fun.

My problem is with folks who can’t separate these fiction/history books with real life.

Hell, the next thing you know, people in this country are going to believe in unicorns!
