Which sounds like warning shots to me.

I’ve read two versions of that which are more credible than what you are saying; one is that it was part of their alarming system (the alarming system wasn’t to warn anybody), the other was that there is no consensus on what those shots were about as they could have been militias training.

BTW in her semi-literate original account she said it was Revere doing the shooting and ringing.

People need to stop pretending to be historians just because they share links that are repeated over and over from blogs and do cursory google searches. Leave the historical discussions to the elitist historians and not the ignorant masses.
