So it occurred to me this morning that we (I) had been convinced that one of the real dangers to the GOP of the long drawn-out primary is that it would leave too little time for the nominee’s inevitable lurch toward the center.

Well, the primary has been effectively over for, what? A month or two?

Mitt’s talented at, hell his only talent may be flip-flopping on his previous positions. When might we start seeing this inevitable lurch? I sure haven’t seen it yet. He’s been as severely conservative since the primary ended as he was while it was in progress.
