Tonight I have multiple reason for gratitude. I’m grateful Obama won. And I am very, very grateful to still have ten fingers after a work accident today. A crucible of molten silver slipped away from me, fell into the water and made a steam explosion that blew the crucible and a few ounces of silver at me like a bullet and shotgun pellets. All I got was a split knuckle where the crucible hit. A cut and bone bruise that will heal.

Then I apologized to the co workers that I put at risk with my slip. Damn I could have hurt those guys. I am grateful that I did not hurt any of my people with my slip up. Very humbling day.
