Can’t even get his history right.

The Hagel delay was a textbook Pyrrhic victory. It hurt the GOP over the long run and gained nothing in return.

It most certainly wasn’t Thermopylae, which was a heroic measure to bide the time for the Greeks to rally against the Persians.

They can’t afford too many more “victories” like this one.
