Speaking as an Oklahoman that lost friends in the Murrah bombing, McVeigh didn’t seek any appeals in his death sentence. Nichols on the other hand is suffering a lot more with his life sentence and no parole in Super Max. But then I was never a fan of capital punishment, not then, not now.
If this kid isn’t sentenced to death, he could spend the next six decades or more under 23 hour/day lockdown. I think I’d prefer a quick death.
