As has been noted time and again, in order for there to be impeachment, there first has to be a party willing to impeach the sonovabitch. And right now Paul Ryan and Sen. Yertle has visions of tax cuts and budget slashes dancing in their heads. The present situation is such that he could be caught with a live boy and dead girl in his bed and the GOP would say “Well, let’s not rush to judgment…”

The GOP will not even THINK of impeachment while their dream of repealing Medicare and Social Security is within reach.
