In fairness, I think the tax penalties in the ACA were also insufficient to really make it an effective mandate. At least in the ACA the tax penalties collected were revenue for the system, as opposed to a pure give-away to the insurance companies we have in this GOPDontCare proposal.

I absolutely agree with you. That’s why so many young, healthy people didn’t sign up.
