Those in the between lands need to move to where jobs are, educate themselves (vote Dem!), or vote for universal wage.

You paying for me to move? How about a college education for a fifty-six year old vet? And who would hire me after I graduated from college?

This whole “you should move and get education” is a really tone-deaf argument I don’t care much for from liberals.

How about this programme instead? The Democratic Party invests in building up the party in places like this and actually runs candidates for every seat, rather than hunkering down in a few states and becoming a regional party. (Like it or not, the Electoral College ensures square miles get votes. Democrats need to compete for all the square miles, not just the ones they currently control.)
