Honestly some of the rhetoric against Mello and characterizations of his abortion stance are over the top. He’s basically holding the same position Tim Kaine does, personally oppose but vows not to block.

Granted his voting history is more problematic with regards to the Nebraska ultrasound law.

Anyway just saying I personally am not categorically opposed to dude just because of that one issue and strictly speaking Bernie has a point.

What bothers me is Sanders’ flagrant fucking hypocrisy, the way he holds himself as the final arbiter of true progressivism. The way he admonishes the rest of us against single issue litmus tests when he applies everyone to the same economic monomaniacal us vs them socialist orthodox standard.
