There is no other option for Ireland other than reunification…

But that too is not an acceptable option for many.

The old solution: both UK and RoI in the EU allowed for a seamless border which quenched some old animosity-driven fights over the border.

Bring back the border, now it’s back to Ireland as divided the hard way.

It’s also a good example of how crazy the import/export business is going to become for the citizens of the UK in the very near future. Under the EU, goods and services could cross the border uninhibited. Now there will be border checks and tariffs unless a trade deal can be struck in time.
