Newer shows tend to be all about how great real estate salespeople are… or how to find your latest dream home.
And there is no “G” left in HGTV.
Most of the newer programs have to do with increasing envy.
And there’s too many massive remodels that are almost full teardown… not a lot of programs anymore about repairing the beautiful parquet floors and exquisite molding and other pre-war features.
When’s the last time one of those shows did a proper full restoration of a 1927 Craftsman?
