The parents who are calling for classroom surveillance couldn’t afford private schools (and need schools to babysit their kids while they’re working). I see no reason not to take them at face value — they want to spy on teachers to see that they’re not teaching them anything that might upset their parents’ world view.

Tell them to home school their kids…see what colleges they qualify for in 10 years.
