It was a consideration in some of the early BLM tactics. Remember the folks shouting black lives matter at plays and other very respectable and mainstream places. That’s part of it.

I respect your hopefulness but just can’t agree. Let me know when they “start shouting black lives matter” at NFL games, NASCAR races, and Trump rallies. The truth is that in America from 1492 to this day, and though I hope not, probably that long into the future, “white discomfort” means only one thing for minorities here, and it is not the rise of a “strong anti-racist ally.”
