We have created an economic system in which these people can profit from doing harm.
We worship “job creators” but companies like Bain are anything but that.

And we have a ethical system that tells us that anyone who is making money must somehow be more hardworking or smarter or even morally superior to the rest of us.

Just wait until the investment bankers cook up some more mortgage derivatives to make bank on before they bring the entire economic system to a grinding halt — again.
