Sure it was dumb of Schweitzer to say that, but it’s the inevitable outcome of Obama being attacked by gop politicans, over the last 5 years, for everything from being a Kenyan to a commie to a non-citizen to an America hater to a Muslim to a radical who hates whites. Rhetoric filled with coarse lies and racism begets more coarse rhetoric.

I refuse to relinquish the high ground. We CANNOT allow this to become what American politics is.

Also, it’s breeding contempt for Mormons in general, not Romney in particular.
