Wasn’t Onan’s sin that he pulled out rather than getting his sister-in-law pregnant after his brother had died? I seem to remember that.

That was my understanding.

But in a larger sense, how can one believe in a God that created the hand, and the genitalia, put them within easy reach of each other, made the interaction of one with the other very pleasurable, and then made it grounds for damnation?
