Interesting, if IMO highly flawed, interpretation of Trump’s federal pay-raise announcement over at dKos . Basically, the diarist posits that Trump’s statements are a YUUUGE charade: that he’s going to come out and loudly freeze the wages, then let himself be “convinced” to reverse the policy by Congressional Republicans so as to make them “look better” for the midterm elections.

This theory has more holes in it than a wheel of Emmenthaler to me, but there we are….
