The Capitol Police and the DC department are not in the same frame of mind as the Portland PD.

Yes, as I understand it, after over 140 injuries, the failure to achieve their primary mission, and the subsequent replacement of the senior leadership, the Capitol Police are not likely to show much tolerance for provocateurs.
