Scarborough was also instrumental in building up Donald Trump’s support. I don’t think these two things are unrelated, and I do not believe his opinions have changed.

Whatever his earliest “relations” with DT might have been, he was also among the first of the never-Trumpers. I recall an op-ed he wrote (but not the date except that it was before the election) about the dangers that he represented.

I’m still not a fan.
