Right, there’s that too. Barack Obama, Sr had very little influence on his son. Meanwhile, Rand did start by campaigning for his father for president he definitely used his father’s name to run for higher office and succeeded. Ted Cruz has called his father his mentor and cited him as an influence. Plus these guys as I said have views that mirror their fathers.
