if im getting you, the people using the word “boy” dont think its vulgar
it’s just a three letter word meaning young male
objectively, that is not what they mean and it’s not how they’re using it. they’re going for one of its other definitions while masking in its innocence.
of course they arent going to be offended
any more than they’d admit they are using it in a racist way
