Do we yet have a grasp of how well Western info is penetrating Russian media and personal communication?

Haven’t heard much, some rumors that phone vpn’s can get western news. Biggest bit I’ve heard recently is that most of the casualties are from the most impoverished regions of the nation and almost none from Moscow and other urban centers. The implication being that they are hiding the cost of the war that way.
