I was going to take typing in high school, but because of a registration mistake the first day I went to the classroom on my schedule and it was Chorus! I forget what I got that changed to, but it wasn’t typing. I probably would have failed Chorus.

Typing was what we girls took “in case” we needed a skill if we had to go to “work”. There were no boys in my typing class. That class was a missed opportunity for many HS boys.
