I seem to remember that there were similar calls to do the same thing with the Susan K Korman Foundation when their CEO went over the line.

Just because a Founder/CEO/Board Member is found wanting, doesn’t mean the charity in and of itself is corrupt.

Yes, take action. It got what her’s name removed from the organization. But it survived and still has the potential to help others.

Don’t drown it because of a bad apple.

Armstrong’s issues are personal, while the Komen issue was ideological (some among the Komen leadership wanted to go on an anti-PP crusade).

Personally, I wouldn’t trust Komen unless a clean sweep had been made of the ideologues, rather than just removal of a single scapegoat.
