This is exactly the same shit we saw after bin Laden was killed. The GOP bent over backwards attempting to make sure Obama got no credit whatsoever.

Part of it is the usual partisan dickery, but part is also the irrational hatred of Obama. It’s really sick, and these last 5 years are easily the low point in the treatment of a US president by the opposition party.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, Obama’s mistakes were:

1) Not doing a deal that involved weapons, a la St. Reagan
2) securing the release of an American POW while black
