I actually had good memories of Cheney from GHWB’s administration, explaining rationally why we didn’t go into Iraq after kicking Saddam out of Kuwait. One can only assume either he was lying through his teeth, or something flipped a switch.

A lot of people say 9/11 changed Cheney but I know he was in that PNAC group in the late 90’s.
