An objective reading of the Bible. Aw fuckit. People are constantly pleading with Him to be merciful and he goes ahead and obliterates and destroys people who don’t follow Him to the letter. When people do follow Him, he’s useful to smite everyone who opposes His chosen people, and then He finally tires of the whole thing, and His chosen people get screwed royally, and their kin thrown to the four corners of the known world.

The objective reading is that He is vengeful, angry, and prone to outbursts if you don’t do things precisely the way he wants. He’s the original OCD subject, with unlimited powers.
