re: #119 Quoth the raven, Covfefe.

That’s what Mrs. Fish says. I’m only slightly inclined to agree. I really enjoyed Agents of SHIELD, but the corpus of DC’s TV franchises do seem to be doing better overall.

On the Marvel side, Jessica Jones season 1, Luke Cage, and Daredevil were all quite good. The Defenders was OK, and Iron Fist and JJ season 2 I’d rather not comment on. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the winner of the bunch.

On the DC side, the only series I have yet to be engaged in is Black Lightning, but I’ve only seen the first three eps. It should be a dramatic series, given his ambivalence about his powers, but so far the scripts have not been especially compelling. I should check out the later ones. OTOH, Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and even Legends of Tomorrow all have managed to keep their storylines interesting, if you judge them as video versions of comic books. Gotham, which is in its own little universe, is by far the best.
