It’s a two-edged sword. Vancouver, BC, has had an influx of wealthy Chinese with money to spend on real estate, and RE prices have skyrocketed to the point where locals can’t afford to rent or own in most of the desirable locations in the city.

Like I wrote, it benefits the wealthy. Funny how that works.
