I have a cordless home phone that blocks all the numbers. I turned the ringer off, we use it to call toll free tech support numbers because our cells used to drop a lot of calls. I list my cell as my home phone number, I’ve had the same one for 35 years now. It’s taken years, but I seldom get callers asking to speak to my wife. “No, she can’t come to this phone right now, try her number - it’s xxx-xxxx.”

cell phones generally don’t work here, although the Panasonic system can sync with it.
We are pretty much stuck with a landline if we want phone service.
