I can understand the bird’s puzzlement: what ARE those? Orange rinds?

They are orange slices, from small oranges of some sort. Mrs J put them out for the mockers, having heard that they would eat fruit in the winter. Haven’t seen them on the oranges but they will eat a crabapple.
