As a complete outsider, sorry, but I’m wondering have ya’ all lost your senses? First of all there is a difference between “those who attend” vs “those who claim to ‘organize’.” Ok?

If one looks back to the April “Tea Party” — who was in attendance? Who? Do you have any stats? Was it comprised of raving KKKers? neo-fascists? white supremacists? If you wish to make that claim, then it’s up to YOU to provide the evidence. There’s a legal maxim that states, “the burden of proof is upon him who affirms, not him who denies.” So, if someone attended the April Tea Party, who will allege “Why, they’re Nazis, and White Supremacists, I tell You!” Based on what, exactly? A web posting from Stormfront?! (laughable). By the way, even Nate Silver wrote about the composition of the April Tea Party groups — look it up. He didn’t report that they were raving KKKers. (So all those who were/are angry about being smeared for having attended an April Tea Party, and as a result, having it alleged, that their attendance at an event is somehow evidence of being the equivalent of a card carrying member of some neo-Nazi group, imo, has every reason to be upset.) And, unless evidence is provided with respect to “well, the composition of all Tea Party’s were obviously KKK”, then it’s not about “denial.”

Next, there is a wholly separate issue and that is about the ORGANIZERs and who the Organizers are — but that should NOT be conflated with “who attended a Tea Party” on April, 2009.

Just my 2 cents…from a detached and distanced view from Canada.
