Yep. Tillerson was a disaster but for different reasons than Pompeo is.

Didn’t he try to appoint competent staff who were rejected by the administration because they weren’t Trump bootlickers? I suspect if he had free rein he would have hired people who would have compensated for his lack of experience.

I have a cousin who worked for him and worships the ground he walks on. Whatever his flaws, he inspired real loyalty among his employees who, unlike Trump’s employees, were actually intelligent and knowledgeable. And Tillerson certainly knew how to run a public company.
