Yeah. Trump getting a third Scotus pick. Scary thought. Breyer isn’t a spring chicken either even if he hasn’t had RBG’s health issues. I’ll always loathe McConnell for what he did. It was one of the most craven moves made in Senate history. And hope I, McConnell, Gorsuch, & Garland live to see the karma for it.

RBG and Breyer hanging on isn’t going to be anywhere near enough though. Even with replacement value for them from a Dem president, we still end up with a conservative court that will vote 5-4 for the GOP on most things that matter. Them lasting long enough to be replaced by a Dem is just staunching the already gaping wound.

EDIT: Not to mention dependent on having a Senate that will vote any replacement in, which will not happen long as McConnell maintains his throne of forever.
